Winter sowing is a really great concept. I have been reading up on it for a few weeks now.

Basically, you plant your seeds in mini greenhouses in winter, and when spring rolls around you have plants that are ready to go. And my favorite part is there is no need in hardening off your plants.
I have been saving and preparing my containers and will give it a try in a couple of weeks.
