What’s Up?

In The Garden:

Potato plants are growing well. We planted yellow fingerlings. I see I need to destroy some potato bug eggs. 😦

Peas are doing good; I just thought they would be larger by now.

Broccoli and Cauliflower(I can’t tell them apart) are doing great. We lost quite a few plants to a predator of some sort. Most likely a bunny rabbit.

In The Kitchen:

Deer tenderloin stir fry with carrots, celery, onions, and peppers. I used this sauce because it didn’t take a lot of ingredients. I will be using this recipe a lot. All I was missing was those crunchy little chow mein noodles. 🙂

In The Barnyard:

Eleanor had her kids two weeks ago. 4 healthy babies! Willow(right) is due a week from Sunday.

A mysterious hole and 7 baby bunnies that we found inside our shed.

Turns out Mr. Columbo was not a boy after all.

There were 3 black and 4 black and white.

Mommy bunny and here babies are doing well in captivity. Babies are getting tamed up for new homes.

In The Flower Beds

Irises in front flower bed. They smell so good!

Flower box outside kitchen window. Makes doing dishes a little more cheerful.

Family Fun:

Madison made my birthday cake. I loved it!

Unexpected Blessing:

A Beautiful rainbow!

  1. Hi! I didn’t plant potatoes this year and was just thinking today that it doesn’t seem like my peas are growing very fast. Beautiful flowers you have! Stir fry looks delicious! Nancy

  2. Your garden looks lovely, the animals adorable, the rainbow absolutely beautiful, and the cake looks cute and tasty. *smile* Have a great day. Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!
