Eleanor’s Kids

We got plenty of rain last week and with it cold temps. It was a lazy kind of week but very enjoyable. My kids and I turned into couch potatoes and watched Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park III, The Princess Bride, and Prince Caspian(an old cheesy British Broadcasting Company version).

I got a little sewing in. Mug rugs are my favorite thing to make.

007Our lunches have been simple and easy. Leftovers, sandwiches, or quesadillas with salads or fruit and dip.

002It has warmed up enough to make villi yogurt again. It is so easy to make, and I love always having yogurt on hand.

We didn’t do much work in the garden, but the rain did everything lots of good. We picked more peas yesterday and froze 4 more bags.

Ellie had two beautiful babies last night. It was her first time kidding, and her kids are happy and healthy. Willow helped clean them up and helped nurse them too.

Can't get enough of these goat babies!

  1. Very cute, love the baby goats and the mug rugs. *smile* The meals sound healthy and it sounds like a nice down week for you all. That is wonderful! Have a fantastic week and thanks for sharing about your peas too. *smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two growing blessings & so much more!

  2. Wow, I can’t believe Willow helped nurse those kids! What a nanny. šŸ™‚
Your mug rug is cute, great colors. Love the pyrex dish with lettuce – I have one just like it.
    Have a great week!
