Spring has arrived in full force this past week with warm temps during the day and cool nights perfect for sleeping with the window open. We even had rain and a thunderstorm Monday night to help the garden along.
Our jungle is taking shape quite nicely 🙂
Irises on the hillside by the driveway
Irises in front flower bed
Lots of strawberry blossoms
azalea bush on the hillside
azalea bushes out front taken last week. If you look closely at the bush on the right you will see….
Bernard shading himself 🙂
potato plants pushing through
a baby asparagus
My Mother’s Day basket
Madison’s cherry tart
Quentin went back to work from vacation on Monday. He got in lots of cooking and fishing.
Even I caught a fish or two
And spring just wouldn’t be the same without new life. We have two chickens setting, and we’re hoping for baby chicks soon. Goat kids will be born around the 14th of June. I can hardly wait!
Kittens will be a week old tomorrow. Such a sweet, little face
