Amish Church Spread-Easy Fruit Dip

It is cold here people! I got up this morning and chopped a boat load of veggies for venison stew to keep us warm today.

This Amish Church Spread was very warming as well. We had bananas and apples that needed eaten up, and we dipped them in the spread straight off the stove top while still warm. It was so good!

Amish Church Spread

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme( I used marshmallows)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine sugar, water and butter and bring to a boil.

Stir in corn syrup, reduce heat to low, and simmer 1 to 2 minutes; remove from heat.

Add peanut butter, marshmallow crème, and vanilla and stir until blended. Store in a container in refrigerator.
